New patches are becoming part of the Leadership Team members' uniforms. This is part of our exciting new leadership program that distinguishes between the Coaches, Trainers and Assistant Instructors by wearing a Genin (gě-neen), Chunin (choo-neen) or Jonin (jō-neen) patch respectively. The first level of this program is the "Coach" or "Genin" patch. Students 16 years old and older who have a Yellow-Black belt or above are eligible to participate as Coaches. At a level with which they are comfortable, Coaches will be trained to help out in class and encourage other students to be their best. This program is an excellent opportunity that can take you step by step toward instructor skills and duties, or you may choose to remain at a basic helper level. The program is for those who enjoy being of assistance to others and helping them achieve their goals. You will also receive additional To Shin Do training as you learn the Leadership skills necessary to assist others in their class.  Quest Center students interested in learning more about the program are encouraged to talk to the instructors or any of the Quest Center Staff for more information. We can start you right away!
