To Shin Do Curriculum

As opposed to many modern martial arts styles, which are based on collections of rigid techniques, To Shin Do training provides the student with principles that student can internalize and adapt to personal attributes such as body size, flexibility, personal philosophy, strength or perceived weaknesses/limitations.

Because of the varied training, the strength of the practitioner of To Shin Do is adaptability; the ability to sense the totality of the situation and to execute appropriate responses for any given situation that confronts him or her.

To Shin Do training unifies technical skills and the life attitudes into principles that embrace danger prevention, personal protection, the protection of others, self-reliance, personal development, and self awareness.
