Shidoshi Russo is recognized as the senior Kasumi-An To-Shin Do instructor in the state of Florida. Mark is a personal friend and student of Shidoshi Stephen K. Hayes, the Western Authority on Ninjutsu and Soke Masaaki Hatsumi, Grandmaster of the Bujinkan school of Budo Taijutsu. Mark earned his MBA from the University of South Florida and spent many years as a corporate consultant to Fortune 500 companies. He brings the motivational and self-mastery techniques he taught corporate executives into the To Shin Do classroom and imparts this valuable knowledge to his students. Mr. Russo is the Dean of the Tampa Quest Center and possesses over 42 years of experience in the martial arts. In addition to his popularity gained through appearances in martial arts films, he has earned teaching licenses in five different martial disciplines:

John Giancarlo is a
certified State Educator with over 9 years experience in teaching. He has over
30 years of
martial arts experience and is a fully licensed instructor in To-Shin-Do. Mr.
Giancarlo is well known for his sense of humor, boundless patience, genuine concern for
his students and his creative teaching methods.

Mrs. Russo, the wife of Mr. Russo, is one of the driving forces behind the success of the Tampa Quest Center. She is our program director with over 14 years of Martial Arts experience. You will almost always find her smiling voice greeting you at the door or answering the phone.

Mr. Hamblen is a
native Floridian with over 12 years experience in public relations. He has over
10 years of
martial arts experience and is a licensed instructor in To-Shin Do. In addition to
enjoying physical adventures to Colorado to hike 14,000+ Foot Mountains in the area, David
values the principles behind To-Shin Do and the opportunity for intellectual growth
offered in the training. Mr. Hamblen has become a driving force behind the Little Dragons and Mighty Dragons programs at the Tampa Quest Center. The youth love his energetic approach to the classes and the parents are delighted with his methods of inspiring self-discipline, focus and respect in their children.
